People of IRAN

Persian or Farsi, is one of the world’s oldest languages still in use today, and is known to have one of the most powerful literary traditions and potentials. Persian poem with feat of Saadi, Hafiz, Rumi and Omar Khayyam is well known around the world. The official language of the country is Farsi. Other languages are also spoken such as Kurdish, Turkish, Arabic, and more.
Kurds are living in Kurdistan, Ilam, west Azerbaijan and Kermanshah provinces; Lurs in Lorestan, Fars and Kohkiloyeh-Boyerahmad; Bakhtiari, Laks and Boyer Ahmadi are living a nomadic life. Arabs inhabit southern Khuzestan and Azaris are predominate in the rest of the northwest of the country. In southwestern of Iran, Kerman is the main city and a lettered hub and Baluches are wonderful musical people, famous for their special musical instruments, handicrafts and group dances whose dress and custom are inimitable.
